I live in the Inland Northwest, (part of the Pacific Northwest but mostly ignored by the wet side as we like to call it here in the Spokane/Coeur D Alene area). My home is in Otis Orchards Washington. I do work full time as a technician and pursue photography as a side business and passion. I am married 32 years and have 4 children and a couple grand kids. I love to get out and visit our national and State parks as much as possible as well as investigate local hideaways as well. Idaho state line is just 2 miles down the street and as many of you know Idaho has massive areas of pristine wilderness, the deepest canyons in North America, big lakes, high mountain peaks, alpine lakes, semi arid deserts, borders Yellowstone Park, (actually part of the park is in Idaho), sports some 11,000 miles of fishing waters, great waterfalls, gemstones, sand dunes, and of course potatoes. All this right out my back door. Then there is the Washington side where we have active volcanoes, two major mountain mountain ranges, a coastal area that rivals the best for image making, wilderness areas, a real rain forest, central plains area, the Palouse which is close to us and a beautiful area to shoot, lots of skiing, wild life, adventure, and apples. These 2 states alone could keep a photographer busy for a lifetime but hey lets not forget my other haunts, Glacier National Park, The Grand Tetons, and Canadian Rockies to our north, Utahs’ grand parks, the Oregon Coast, and the list goes on. With thousands of waterfalls, animals, meadows, lakes, plains, mountains, and rivers, what more could you ask for? I look forward to sharing adventures with you and encouraging you to put one foot in front of the other and bring me an image that makes me want to go there.
