It is the same thing. Taking a picture from your car window works in some cases, but getting out and exploring the angles; going where no one else has gone, sure has it’s rewards. The most may be personal rewards, but that is after all why we do this…. isn’t it?
I took this shot by hiking off the trail a bit. I wanted to contrast the trunk with the snow on the trees. I think everyone can feel the nature of this one. The main thing was to get off the trail and remove man made objects….simply focus on the natural.
