I was headed home when I saw a road leading up a hill I had not been up before. I drove up a ways and saw the sun shining through the trees. I stopped and hiked out a few feet from the side of the road for this shot. [...] A few years ago I wouldn’t have bothered to get this shot. It would have been too much “work”.
